With select clients, Mark edits manuscripts to help clients with finished works finish them properly for publication. This work sometimes entails manuscript appraisal; other times close line-editing.
“thank you for the profound changes that you’ve wrought in me over the course of the mentorship… I’ve come to understand my own work much better, too. You’ve woken me up to some vital, poetic things: rhythm, form. I’ve gained confidence in my editing ability, to see and hear flaws. I’ve developed more confidence in the poems, too. And your close attention to me, and my poems, has initiated a period of prolific new work.”
