A new digital look
After ten years, I’ve retired my old website, which did me good service, but which I have neglected these past few years. Thanks to Bambang Karim, for designing and maintaining that first site.
But here’s my new one, better adapted to me and to the times. I want to thank Margery Ai for designing such an elegant online portal for me and my work—so like a physical place—and for the hard work and inspiration entailed.
Thanks to Isabella Brown for the black and white photography.
You can find here a large selection of my poems and essays; you can find all my books; you can sign up for my online and onsite workshops; you can contact me about mentorships, speaking engagements, interviews, consultancies. And, of course, you can read the latest news.
I’ll also be blogging here occasionally under “Riffs & Plaints.”
In weeks and months ahead, we’ll grow the site. There’ll be a newsletter—Letters from Here. We’ll add more reviews and media. And a Gallery of photos. I’ll post more essays and poems; I’ll podcast; I’ll upload readings of poems and audio and video reflections on the craft and other matters.
But let’s get this launched. I’ve waited too long. Plus there’s big news: my first online poetry masterclass, coming to you from 25 May.
